Come join us for a whole lot of Trail Horse fun with friends and their equine partners, these competitions are held to show off our amazing trail mounts and their fantastic skill levels, from just starting out with a green mount to very advanced, dates will be posted online 6 weeks prior to competition.
Our trail competitions are all about showing off our fantastic partners in all levels of training, we have Green Horse, Beginner Rider, Intermediate Rider and Open levels in both In-Hand and Under-Saddle. Green horse may be shown by any level rider or handler while the other divisions are based on the riders/horses skill level. Trainers/Instructors must show in either Green horse or Open, they may not show in the other 2 levels, you may show multiple levels such as Green Horse with one animal and then Intermediate with another but you may not show both with the same horse. There is no exception, if you participate in the Green horse level then that is the only level the horse may go in. You will find that Green and Beginner will have the same types of skills asked between the divisions and then the skill requirement goes up as we go up the levels.
We will have a huge variety of trail obstacles that will be used in our competitions. Right now between both Under-Saddle and In-Hand I have over 50 obstacles to choose from for an Arena Course to an Obstacle Course and also a Trail Course, In-Hand Courses will either be held in the arena or out in our obstacle area. Classes will offer between 8-10 obstacles to complete in each level, there is a time limit to each course but this is in no way a speed event, I am looking for good willing partnership between you and you horses.
Rosette ribbons will be awarded from 1st to 6th place in each division , there will also be an award for best obstacle in each division.
